Position Details

A fantastic opportunity exists for 4 x Policy Advisers to join the Infrastructure, Planning and Major Projects (IPMP) Branch within the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

  • 2 x ongoing
  • 1 x 24-month fixed term
  • 1 x 12-month fixed term

IPMP supports the Victorian Government to develop policy and legislative reforms in relation to transport, planning, building, heritage, precincts and suburban development. The Branch plays a vital role in shaping the delivery of Victoria's planning and infrastructure priorities.

As the Policy Adviser, you will provide high quality policy advice and analysis to the Premier, DPC Secretary and other senior officers across a range of planning, building, precinct and transport issues.

You will work closely with other government departments and build strong working relationships to help develop, influence and guide policy development and project delivery across the planning, precinct and infrastructure portfolios.

This is an opportunity to work at the centre of the Victorian Government during a time of significant planning reform and infrastructure investment to meet the needs of a changing and diverse population.
