About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a qualified Accountant with high level financial, analysis and evaluation skills for a full time, 12 month contract in the Financial and Business Services Division. 

The Financial Accountant provides senior supervision, coordination and supports control of finances and resources to enable South West Healthcare (SWH) to achieve its objectives.  Additionally, the Financial Accountant is responsible for providing information and advice, overseeing implementing financial processes and ensuring compliance with all reporting standards and audit requirements, ensuring effective and timely services are provided.

What you bring

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining professional confidentiality, prioritising tasks and coordinating projects as part of a financial services team.  A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Business is required, along with experience in reconciliation, journaling and financial reporting.
