About the roles

Exciting opportunities exists for suitably qualified health professional (Social Worker, Registered Nurse, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist) to join our Primary Mental Health Team in full time temporary position until December 2022.  

The Primary Mental Health Team works in partnership with, and supports primary care practitioners (including General Practitioners and Community Health Centre staff) in their treatment of patients / clients with depression and anxiety, and; practices out of general practice settings.

The high performing team currently has vacancies reflective of funding growth.

What you bring

As health professional you will be able to demonstrate skills and broad experience in mental health clinical services including proven ability to work within a team based multi-disciplinary model. A working knowledge of Recovery Oriented practices, trauma informed care, current mental health trends, legislation and relevant policy directions of mental health services also is essential for this role.

The successful applicants will have excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills and initiative with proven ability to work autonomously and with a multidisciplinary team, as well as an ability to work with limited direction, be self-motivated, and provide effective problem-solving, negotiation and change management skills.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020 or Victorian Public Health Sector (Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021, with the appropriate discipline classification Occupational Therapist Grade 2, Psychologist Grade 2, Social Worker Grade 2 or Registered Nurse Grade 3 as appropriate.
