Position Details
Join us in building better connections for Victoria by:
- Providing support to the Senior Cost Controller in the development, delivery and ongoing maintenance of cost controls, systems and processes
- Developing innovative indicators to assess program and project performance, and produce regular reporting to management and stakeholders
- Undertaking regular review and analysis of program performance including trend analysis in relation to cost and provide sound advice on corrective actions
- Providing input into development of innovative cost control initiatives that improve cost control systems and processes
We are seeking an experienced Project/Cost Controller with high level analytical and conceptual skills and a demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify anomalies and implement appropriate solutions. You will have practical experience in computerised cost control systems and your well developed ability to influence the actions of project team members, and drive required outcomes, will ensure your success in this role.
In addition you will have:-
- An Engineering/Quantity Surverying or Procurement industry experience;
- Experience in a complex and diverse environment, as it relates to infrastructure planning and delivery;
- Demonstrated experience in the application of project management and cost control frameworks, processes, systems and tools;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet mutually agreed deadlines, schedules and time commitments.
You will need to draw on your demonstrated experience in maintaining program and project cost controls, systems and processes. This opportunity will see you providing advice with the support of your leader to key stakeholders on project management cost control activities so a level of comfort in that role is important.
