Position Details

A fantastic, ongoing opportunity exists for a Protocol and Events Adviser to join the Strategic Communication, Engagement and Protocol (SCEP) branch within the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

SCEP provides specialist communication, event, behavioural and protocol advice and support to the department, the Minister for Government Services and the Premier's Private Office.

As the Protocol and Events Adviser, you will play a key role in the delivery of a range of live, virtual and hybrid events in a time critical environment, including large scale public events, international visits and ceremonial events.

You will provide advice on a broad range of protocol, award and event related matters and prepare high quality written advice, briefings, correspondence and reports.

On a day-to-day basis you will use your excellent stakeholder management skills to build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to build on your existing event coordination skills and gain further insight into the delivery of government events.
