About the role

Join South West Healthcare's Mental Health and Wellbeing Service in an exciting new position, as Carer Peer Leader-Transformation. This role will work with the Mental Health Transformation Team to ensure authentic carer, family and supporter engagement and co-production of the new service. It will also liaise and build relationships with internal parties, along with general community and Victoria's Mental Health and Wellbeing Services.

This role offers a great opportunity to provide support and knowledge to individuals, families and the community whilst also receive feedback on current systems, processes and service design.

This is a fixed term part time role until end of December 2022.

What you bring

The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining professional confidentiality and remaining customer focused at all times. Previous experience in caring for someone with mental ill health is a requirement for the role and a qualification in peer work and/or project management is desirable. Excellent organisation, administrative and network development skills would be highly regarded.
