Position Details

About the role

The Senior O & G Registrar position provides broad Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience in a rural setting, developed in line with RANZCOG training requirements. This includes Birthing Suite supervision and management, frequent operative experience covering open, vaginal and advanced laparoscopy and clinic experience encompassing all aspects of most subspecialty areas, colposcopy and ultrasound. The successful candidate will closely liaise with the Obstetrics and Gynaecology GP Registrars and the local Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

This is a fixed term full time position, until February 2024.

What you bring

The successful applicant will hold a current Registration Certificate of the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia and have sufficient previous general clinical experience to support the requirements associated with RANZCOG training. As a Senior Registrar you'll be committed to providing safe, high quality patient care and working in an interdisciplinary team, including being able to seek advice when necessary.
