About the Role:

Coordinator Aviation Programs contributes to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of programs that encourage, maintain and strengthen the capability of volunteers and enhance their role within delivery of CFA aviation related services.

A newly created role this opportunity will report to and work in direct consultation and with direction from the Commander - Aviation. Additionally, the role will enjoy interaction and consultation with the senior stakeholders of the CFA and nominated external providers. More specifically the mandate requires analysis and evaluation of current processes with the intent of coordinating and developing learning and training priorities across the state.

This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Prepare reports on training activities and course delivery performance measures
  • Support the Commander aviation to implement and maintain the Learning Management System and Student Management System
  • Collaboratively develop a training plan with the Commander aviation on behalf of districts.
  • Effectively liaise with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the state's aviation training needs and objectives to ensure a workable and effective training plan and schedule is implemented.
  • Support state capability development via partner agency Review process.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of aviation training and assessment within CFA.
  • Coordinate and prepare training resources and materials including tracking and ordering materials as required.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers, and with external providers.Undertake analysis and present findings/recommendations to support the planning and monitoring of training activities
  • Ensure learning and assessment materials are compliant with the AQTF standards and support the maintenance of CFA's RTO status.

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting. You will possess strong attention to detail as well as have excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and build effective long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Adaptability and the ability to prioritise tasks is paramount. You will have a comprehensive understanding of supporting Procurement, Logistics, Inventory and Safety/Aviation departments. The successful candidate will also have strong organisational skills and will display the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy on all deliverables within set deadlines.
