Infection Control Nurse

The infection Control Nurse provides a microbiologically safe environment for patients, Residents, staff and visitors at Dhelkaya Health through prevention and control of infectious diseases. Ensuring that essential audits and reporting mechanisms are maintained and that all mandatory standards are supported appropriately. The position will participate in the delivery of staff immunisations and post exposure follow-up for staff of Dhelkaya Health.

This Role

The successful applicant should have a post-graduate qualification specific to Infection Control or be working toward the same. Additionally, the person must have demonstrated ability to work within and support a multidisciplinary team, have highly developed communication skills, problem solving, interpersonal together with strong clinical leadership skills. The role is a job-share position and as such the available hours are negotiable.
