Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Technology and Transformation Branch at the Department of Premier & Cabinet.

The Technology and Transformation branch sits within Digital Victoria Group and leads work on government strategic platforms, core and common platforms, systems and solutions, WOVG technology architecture governance and assurance, specialist capability CoEs and delivery and management of Digital Victoria's technology solutions.

As a Senior Project Manager within this team, you will be responsible for delivery of a new transformation project within the Application Programming Interface (API) Program. Your role will be to guide a dedicated team to uncover cross departmental integration requirements, develop a business case and prepare for the build of the new project. 

You will have previous experience managing integration projects and understand different integration technologies and how they could be best leveraged for the requirements.

About you

As our ideal candidate you will have;

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, highly technical projects and being responsible for management of budgets, schedules, procurement and contracts.
  • Experience building relationships with stakeholders at all levels with ability to manage expectations and facilitate discussions across high risk and complexity.
  • Experience presenting to large and small groups as well as well developed written communications skills.
  • Experience starting new project teams and establishing ways of working that support the team to deliver the project.
  • Highly-developed critical thinking and problem solving skills.
