Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and experienced Project Support Officer to join the Technology and Transformation Branch at the Department of Premier & Cabinet.

The Technology and Transformation branch sits within Digital Victoria Group and leads work on government strategic platforms, core and common platforms, systems and solutions, WOVG technology architecture governance and assurance, specialist capability CoEs and delivery and management of Digital Victoria's technology solutions.

As a Project Support Officer within this team you'll support a Senior Project Manager to deliver a new transformation project within the Application Programming Interface (API) Program. Your role will include providing financial reporting, procurement support, project reporting and administration support to keep the project properly tracked, the Team on budget and financials accounted for. This is an exciting role that will suit someone with evolved procurement, financial management, and project documentation skills.

  • Proven experience in financial management, procurement support and reporting
  • Experience in portfolio programme and project support
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed planning and organisational skills
