Position Title: Delivery Lead VPS6 | Work Location:Ballarat, Footscray, Flexible work may be available | Employment Type: Full Time - Fixed Term (12 months) | Salary Range: $127,467 - $170,579 (plus 10.5% superannuation)

The opportunity  

We're looking for an experienced people leader with deep software development background to lead a team of cross functional specialists working on a range of projects for Service Victoria. As a Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the overall performance of your team, work with the Product Owner to help prioritise and determine your team's roadmap and report progress against objectives. 

What a Delivery Lead does at Service Victoria: 

  • First and foremost,you're a people leader: you will have line management responsibility for a small team (typically between 4 and 6 people) of Salesforce technology specialists, mostly software engineers, in a cross functional team. 

  • You'll enjoy mentoring and coaching, working closely with your team to identify skill gaps, establish professional development plans and conductregular performance reviews (both formal and informal) 

  • You'll enjoy having positive impacts on culture, and work to build engagement and motivation within your team 

  • Working closely with the Product team, you'll help develop the product roadmap, prioritise deliverables and contribute to effort estimations to help plan the delivery schedule

  • Participates in a 24/7 on-call roster for responding to incidents out of hours (our teams own the software the build and are responsible for supporting its operability) 

Desired Qualifications  

  • Industry based accreditation such as ITIL or SAFe is highly desirable.
