About the Role

Delivery Liaison officer is a position that sits within Regional Transport and ensures regional transport maintenance and improvement works are well coordinated with regional stakeholders. This role will leverage collaboration opportunities between the central teams and regional stakeholders as well as ensure the regional team is well informed about centrally delivered works.

Key Accountabilities

  • Works are Coordinated – The Delivery Liaison officer role has ensured that centrally delivered maintenance and capital works are well coordinated with all regional stakeholders including LGAs and Alpine Resort Management Boards (where applicable). This will involve developing reporting systems and processes that align with the relevant stakeholder's needs.
  • Stakeholder Management – Regional stakeholders are satisfied with the level of coordination support received and collaboration opportunities presented.
  • Program Planning and Delivery – The incumbent has ensured that DoT regional teams are well informed of central program planning and delivery through developing systems and reporting mechanisms.
  • Effective Communication with Regional Teams – The incumbent has effectively communicated local incidents on the traffic network to regional teams and briefed regional stakeholders as required.
  • Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.

Experience and Requirements

  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
