Position Details
Digital Victoria sits within the Department of Government Services (DGS). DGS was established on 1 January 2023 to improve Victorian's experience of doing business and interacting with the government.
The Technology and Transformation branch (TTB) leads work on government strategic platforms, core and common platforms, systems and solutions, Whole of Victorian Government (WOVG) technology architecture governance and assurance, specialist capability Centres of Excellence and delivery and management of Digital Victoria's technology solutions.
There are 2 exciting (18-Months Fixed Term) Senior Business Analyst opportunities within the TTB, WOVG API Team, which provides technology and expertise to facilitate secure data-sharing.
These roles will :
- work with an incredibly wide variety of Victorian Government entities and external vendors
- understand, document and guide API integrations from concept through planning, design, build and implementation
- play a key role in guiding and educating technical and non-technical stakeholders on the capabilities of the technology and services we provide and industry best practices.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you will you have:
- expert technical workshop facilitation and requirements elicitation
- expert stakeholder engagement skills to build and maintain relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders from across government
- expert project management skills to manage multiple projects concurrently to conclusion
- technical solution development experience to understand how the API Platform's capabilities can be applied
- ability to understand the strategy of the API Program, how projects contribute and how individual integrations align to strategic aims
