About the Role:
Project Manager Fire Safety Education Program for Children is to lead the process of reviewing, developing and adapting a Fire Safety Education Program for Children (pre-primary to Grade 4).
The primary role of the Project Manager is to be the Subject Matter Expert in learning and education to ensure a contemporary solution to best practise in terms of Fire Safety Education to enhance children's capacity to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from fire.
The Project Manager will bring significant project management capability and SME to the Fire Safety Education Program on emerging concepts and thinking that have relevance for learning and the education of children and young people.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating complex education projects for children and an understanding of project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to obtain effective cooperation and contribution from stakeholders (intra and inter project collaboration) and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to negotiate and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial resources
- Experience working within a volunteer environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in project management or equivalent (desirable)
