About the Role:
At CFA, the Regional Learning and Development Strategy ensures that CFA members have the required skills and capabilities to respond to and manage emergencies in accordance with Victoria's Emergency Management Arrangements.
A fixed term opportunity is currently available at our Seymour office for an experienced and talented Learning and Development professional. Working closely with the Manager L&D, you will lead a team of L&D Coordinators and Administrators to ensure all operational learning and training priorities are delivered across the Region and assist with implementing State-wide learning initiatives.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in training, education and/or leadership are highly desirable.
- Certificate IV in Training and Education or equivalent.
- Proven leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to obtain effective cooperation and contribution from stakeholders and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, knowledge management, research and outcome and evidence-based program design.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing evidence-based programs within a large volunteer organisation.
- High level written and verbal communications skills; able to negotiate and deliver agreed outcomes
