About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an experienced and capable person to join our Acute Inpatient Unit and provide high level administrative and reception support in a full time position (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO. This position is responsible for maintaining effective office management systems to ensure continued smooth work flow within multi-functional office areas. By collaborating with others to form a cohesive healthcare team the Administrative Support Officer contributes to positive outcomes for our consumers.
What you bring
The successful application will have sound knowledge and experience in a variety of computer skills (Microsoft Office), an ability to work autonomously and prioritise work-loads, and perform daily functions with a substantial level of accountability and responsibility. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise with management and staff as well as a proven ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.
Experience in working with medical records and qualifications within Office Administration (minimum of Certificate 3 or equivalent) would be advantageous but not essential.
