About the role
South West Healthcare's (SWH) Physiotherapy Department provides best practice, patient centred care to clients in both an admitted and community setting, presenting with a variety of conditions.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Allied Health Assistant to join our large, vibrant, supportive and passionate team of 22 Physiotherapists, 9 Allied Health Assistants & 3 Exercise Physiologists (22 EFT). This role will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to provide both individual and group programs to clients engaging through our community rehabilitation programs.

This Allied Health Assistant position is a permanent part time (64 hours per fortnight) position, and would be suitable for new graduate or experienced Allied Health Assistants.

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will have developed experience and skills in carrying out, monitoring and reporting back on set therapy programs under direct or indirect supervision of Allied Health Professionals (AHP's). These programs may be delivered individually or in a group setting. You will also be required to assist AHP's with individual clients, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
