Transition to Practice Graduate (RN) Program 2018-2019

Fixed Term Part-time – 64 hours per fortnight

MDHS continues to introduce innovative models for staff development and progression across the health service. In 2018 we are offering our Transition to Practice Graduate (RN) Program, providing the opportunity for RN Graduates to join forces with our team inspiring health across the region. Graduates are offered the opportunity to experience regional and rural nursing through a supportive and structured clinical rotation process. The program includes planned study days and clinical supervision which focus on advanced decision-making, person-centred care, communication, leadership skills and professional practice. Graduates undertake rotations through clinical areas across our MDHS campuses in Maryborough, Avoca and Dunolly. This offers a broad and diverse range of experiences in Acute, Speciality units including Theatre, Urgent care, Dialysis, Aged and Community Care.
