About the role

We are seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our nursing team in the Medical/Palliative Care Unit. You will work alongside our multi-disciplinary team inclusive of allied health professionals and medical practitioners to deliver high-quality care in our 31 bed unit.

Our Medical Unit is focused on providing patient centred care and better health outcomes to enhance the quality of life for all our inpatients requiring care for a vast range of conditions. The Unit also specialises in palliative care, the focus of care is designed to meet the wishes of patients and families at the end of life, or those requiring specialised symptom management.

Permanent full time or part time positions are available.

Accommodation and relocation assistance to support with your move to our vibrant seaside regional town is available and will be considered on an individual basis.

What you bring

The successful applicant will hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and have recent acute hospital experience over the past 3 years. As a Registered Nurse you will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining professional confidentiality and you will provide best practice, patient centred care in a safe and caring environment.

Excellent management and communication skills are essential and evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development will be highly regarded.
