Position Details
About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a suitable qualified and experienced nurse for the position of Team Leader of our Community Health Continence / Urology team. This team is part of the Primary & Community Services Division and provides a key service to support patients across the organisation from the inpatient setting through to clients in living in the community. The service extends across all South West Healthcare campuses in addition to contracted services in health centres in Timboon, and Port Fairy.
The Team Leader position is responsible for the day to day running of continence services and providing clinical support for staff within the team as well as providing direct clinical care to patients/clients.
- This is a permanent part – time positon (64 hours per fortnight)
What you bring
The successful applicant will have;
- A suitable qualification in Nursing, and hold a current registration with AHPRAH.
- A minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience
- Effective interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience in evaluation of programs and reporting
- Commitment to improving the care of individuals in the community
- Demonstrated lateral thinking abilities and proven work ethic
- Knowledge of Continence policy and practice (preferred)
- Post graduate Continence/Urology qualifications will be considered favourably.
