About the Role:
Workforce Planning is a new function within the People and Culture Department and a key function that will support CFA to plan its future workforce requirements whilst responding to changing business needs.
Reporting to the Manager HR Systems, Governance and Analytics, the Workforce Planning Consultant is accountable for developing, implementing, and improving CFA's workforce planning capabilities and implementing a process that will enable CFA to effectively manage its workforce.
The Workforce Planning Consultant will provide influence and direction across CFA to provide proactive insights that will shape business resource decision making. The role will ensure that data is accurately reflected within the HRIS system which then informs and supports a shared understanding of the impacts across the HR and Finance function including financial management, reporting and employee relations capabilities.
Partnering with our Data Analytics expert, the role will lead complex strategic workforce reporting and analysis that provides meaningful and actionable insights for the business.
In addition, the role will lead two key initiatives.
1) Deploy a new FTE budget management process
2) Support the implementation of new Fair Work Act legislation related to fixed-term contracts
About You:
You will be an experienced practitioner delivering on contemporary strategic workforce management in medium to large, complex organisations. Your effectiveness will be based on your ability to build trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders who will value your direction and insights.
You love working with Data and possess high level Excel / PowerBI skills and have experience analysing and manipulating data to deliver workforce planning insights.
