About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is now seeking a Clinical Trials Assistant to carry out administrative functions and data management within the Clinical Trials Unit. This position contributes to the effective delivery of clinical trials undertaken by a multidisciplinary team, working closely with the other members of the Unit.
The role includes undertaking a wide range of activities related to the set-up and running of clinical trials at SWH and site administration. This includes updating and maintaining various research databases, Electronic Site Files and Clinical Trial Research Agreements (CTRA's). The position applies understanding of governance processes and finance and budgetary processes in effectively administering clinical trials, ensuring procedures and practices comply with relevant legislation, policy and procedures.
- This is permanent part time (56 hours per fortnight) position.
What you bring
The successful applicant will have excellent administration skills, previous experience and proficiency in data input and management and demonstrated problem-solving, time management and confidentiality is key to this role. Prior experience in governance and administration of clinical trials is desirable, along with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in a relevant area of study.
