About the role
The Manager of Warrnambool Adult Mental Health Services will ensure the provision of recovery oriented, trauma informed mental health assessment, treatment, care and support to Consumers and their Families, Carers and Support People across Warrnambool and surrounds.
They will lead a team of more than 20 staff including Social Workers, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Psychiatric Enrolled Nurses, Administrative Support Officers and Medical Staff. They will work within a dynamic and connected service system geared toward best outcomes.
Position overview
- Full-time (40 hours per week with monthly ADO), Fixed term role ending 18/11/2024
- Seaside Warrnambool Campus
- Occupational Therapist Grade 3
- Salary Range: $99,606.00 - $113,796.80 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
You will demonstrate strong leadership, commitment to maintaining professional confidentiality and remaining customer focused all times.
You're proactive, flexible, and resilient and happy to use your initiative, have a high attention to detail and be an Occupational Therapist with a Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency and at least 7 years' experience in the provision of mental health services.
You would have:
- Ability to relate to a wide range of persons and professional groups.
- Experience in leadership and management
- Extensive skills and experience in variety of mental health services.
