About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Podiatrists to join our supportive and passionate team. The focus of this position is to provide high quality, client centred care to reduce the hospital burden associated with foot and lower limb disease, and to support and promote good foot health practices.
The Podiatry department provides care for both admitted and non-admitted clients across the Warrnambool, Camperdown, Lismore and Macarthur SWH campuses. This Grade 1 role includes the delivery to the consumers of SWH a diverse case load of podiatric care, including assessment and intervention of the ‘high risk' foot, wound care, biomechanical presentations and ingrown toe nail care.
This is a permanent full time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO position. Full clinical supervision and clinical support is offered to all grade 1 Podiatrists with a Senior Podiatrist. New graduates are welcome to apply.
What you bring
- The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining professional confidentiality and remaining client focused at all times.
- A Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent qualifications as recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a current AHPRA registration and a current driver's licenses are required.
- A demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively within a high performing team, developed organisational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- It is desirable the successful applicant has the ability to adapt to a fast paced and evolving work environment and has the capabilities for complex decision making and problem solving.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026 with appropriate classification of Podiatrist Grade 1.
Salary range: $71,292 - $82,539.60 per annum pro rata.
