About the role
We are looking for Registered Nurses with a desire to provide quality care to the Mt Alexander Shire community. The Geroe unit is a complex working environment and comprises a mixed medical-surgical ward, an Urgent Care Centre and Level 2 Maternity Service. The role requires the successful applicant to work their contracted hours across all shifts covering seven days per week primarily on the medical-surgical ward with support for the Urgent Care Centre as required.
About you
The successful applicant will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. It is desirable that you have demonstrated recent experience working in an acute/urgent care setting. You should be able to demonstrate effective infection control practices and a commitment to quality improvement.
