Position Details

About the role

The VEC is currently recruiting for a part-time Enrolment Transaction Coordinator to join the Electoral Enrolment Branch as part of a job share arrangement. The position manages the import and scheduling of data for processing by the Enrolment Registry Team and has recently been re-designed to clarify its focus on managing the VEC's suite of enrolment procedures and process documentation, incuding their continuous improvement and maintenance. The position is a key contributor to the Enrolment Registry Team and operates closely with the Enrolment Registry Manager and the Enrolment Coordinator Group.

Please note that this position is part of a job share arrangement, including at least one day overlapping each week for collaboration between the job share partners. Flexibility in working hours and days is expected, including scope to increase working days to cover leave or periods of increased activity (i.e. leading up to and during a major electoral event). Any changes to the working arrangements will be negotiated.

The successful applicant

We are looking for somebody with experience using complex enterprise applications to schedule jobs according to an overall business schedule, good communication skills with clients, customers and colleagues at all levels, and an ability to monitor changing business needs and stay on the front foot. Experience managing sensitive information and documenting compliant processes is an advantage. An understanding of electoral legislation and processes in an Australian jurisdiction is preferred, but not essential.
