About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) believes in providing a highly supportive environment for all Graduates that encourages professional development and excellence. Our aim is to provide clinical structured support during the transition from student to Occupational Therapist.
The Occupational Therapy Graduate is a supernumerary position within our mental health services with dedicated study time and access to our Occupational Therapy Educator.
Position overview

- Salary Range: $72,363.20 plus per annum, plus superannuation
SWH is offering Full Time, 12-month fixed term positions (80hrs per fortnight with ADO, contract ending after 12 months from commencement)
The successful applicants may be eligible for incentive payments of up to $10,000 for rent, childcare, relocation costs, and more, as part of the Workforce and Incentive Grants Program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).

The successful applicant will have excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills and initiative. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to your professional development and remaining customer focused at all times.
You will also have
- A degree in Occupational Therapy
- Be eligible for AHPRA membership, upon graduating
- Have graduated in the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
- Agree to a pre-employment national criminal check, prior to employment
- Have full Australian working rights
- Hold a full drivers' license, your own vehicle and comprehensive insurance
