About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an Advanced Physician Trainee in General Medicine who will have direct but shared responsibility for the treatment of patients at SWH. The Medial Registrar is to develop, consolidate and enhance clinical skills in the provision of high quality patient care and develop collaborative relationships with medical, surgical, anaesthetic and psychiatric colleagues and senior staff as well as nursing and other staff.

This is a fixed term full time position until February 2025.

  • Holds a current Registration Certificate of the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia.
  • Meets requirements for Basic Physician Training in General Medicine.
  • Is committed to providing safe, high quality patient care.
  • Is committed to working in an interdisciplinary team including seeking advice when necessary.
  • Has a commitment to ongoing learning and self-development
