About the role

South West Healthcare's (SWH) Speech Pathology team is seeking a part-time Speech Pathologist to work with kindergartens within the South West. The role will see the successful candidate work with teachers, educators and families to promote:

-          Improved speech, language, social and early literacy outcomes

-          Self-regulation, positive and pro-social behaviours

-          Social and emotional wellbeing and mastery of everyday tasks

The School Readiness Team is an experienced team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. The successful candidate will work in this multidisciplinary team delivering services as part of the School Readiness Funding and Speech Pathology in Schools initiatives in partnership with the Department of Education and Training (DET).

There is also scope within this role to provide direct clinical Speech Pathology services to our paediatric clients within our community health program.

Position Overview

  • This is a Fixed Term, Part Time (64 hours a fortnight) position until the end of October 2024
  • This can be based in Hamilton and / or Warrnambool

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the  Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026,with the appropriate classification Speech Pathologist Grade 1 or 2. With salary range of $67,849.60 - $99,699.60
