About the role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a suitable qualified and experienced nurse within our Community Health Continence / Urology team. This team is part of the Primary & Community Services Division and provides a key service to support patients across the organisation from the inpatient setting through to clients in living in the community.  The service extends across all South West Healthcare campuses in addition to contracted services in health centres in Timboon, and Port Fairy.

The Continence Nurse will provide a holistic assessment and an assessment of patients continence needs, as well as develop and review patient/client care plans based on clinical needs and the clients expressed goals

Position overview

  • Part-time (64 hours per week), On-going position
  • Warrnambool Campus
  • Classification: Community Health Nurse
  • Salary Range: $102,278.80 pro rata, plus superannuation

What you bring

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold a current AHPRA registration in Nursing or appropriate Allied Health profession.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience.
  • Require a sound knowledge and experience in treating people who continence issues is vital to this role.
  • Have comprehensive computer skills and knowledge with an understanding of TRAK Community.
