    About the Role

    An excellent opportunity currently exists, to join a progressive and close-knit team within the CFA Finance function. This is a permanent role with exciting career development prospects and is located at CFA Headquarters in Burwood East.

    Reporting to the Manager Shared Services, this position is responsible for providing guidance and advice in the processing of financial transactions and contributes to the financial management of the CFA.

    More specifically the role involves:

    • Ensuring checking processes are completed including end of month reports, account reconciliations, petty cash and cab charge.
    • Processing electronic purchase order invoices, manual vendor invoices, vendor payments and transactions.
    • Providing advice and guidance to departments on financial policy and governance.
    • High level customer service and administrative support to internal and external clients.
    • Development and maintenance of the CFA finance manual.
    • Managing creditor account enquiries, payments and complaints.
    • An up to date understanding of policy, legislative process and system changes.
    • Filing and document maintenance.
    • Ensuring Incident Finance processes are followed.

    About You

    To succeed in this role, you will have proven experience in Accounts Payable preferably in a large, diverse organisation. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and a quality focus are essential to the role, and you will have the ability to develop cooperative working relationships. Your computer skills, particularly in Excel and SAP accounting package will complement your ability to work proactively and with limited supervision.
