Our Camperdown Mental Health and Wellbeing Team is dedicated to supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness within the local community. We prioritise a recovery-oriented model of care, ensuring that consumers, their families, and carers receive both clinical and non-clinical treatment as part of short and long-term case management.

About the Role:

As a Social Worker within our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. You will provide clinical and non-clinical treatment as part of short and long-term case management, utilising a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach. You will work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, and existing community supports to ensure comprehensive care within the South West region.

Permanent full-time position (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO and permanent part-time options available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and non-clinical treatment as part of short and long-term case management.
  • Utilise a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach to care.
  • Work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, and existing community supports.
  • Maintain regular communication and information flow with other clinical staff, professionals, families, and stakeholder groups.
