Position Details

About the Role

In the lead up to the State Election, the role will support the infrastructure and facilities team in the negotiation and administration of leased premises for use as election offices, and provide ongoing facilities support. This role will also provide project support during the establishment of voting centres, remote offices , early voting centres and head office infrastructure.

This role joins a dynamic infrastructure and facilities management team, and you'll be responsible for the day-to-day administrative support of all facilities and support services that underpin the operation of the VEC's head office and warehouse facilities, often processing numerous and varied requests quickly and accurately. Requests and support can relate to  building and equipment maintenance, pool vehicles, telecommunications, security and the procurement of equipment, resources and office supplies.

About you

We are looking for somebody with superior teamwork skills and a proven ability to plan, coordinate and deliver multiple projects with limited supervision. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will be essential to help you engage with a range of stakeholders from senior management to external service providers.

You have well-developed analytical skills and the ablility to identify problems and recommend solutions or process improvements. Strong skills in using the Microsoft suite of programs will serve you well.

A current Victorian driver's licence is required for this position.

Prior experience in commercial leasing would be desirable but is not essential.
