About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a Perioperative Stock & Inventory Officer with strong organisational and time management skills to join our Operating Theatre team.
This role is responsible for the ordering, storage and supply of stock to perioperative services, ensuring that stock complies with recommended standards. There will be a focus on developing improved processes for the operating suite inventory to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. The role will also provide customer focused support to the staff in the perioperative services team.
This is a permanent part time position - 56 hours per fortnight.
What you bring
The successful applicant will demonstrate a working knowledge of medical and surgical instrument consumables and experience using a computerized inventory system. High attention to detail and accuracy in documenting information and completing forms as well as demonstrating excellent communication skills and computer literacy are essential. A Certificate 3 in Logistics & Supply or a willingness to undertake is essential.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021- 2025 with the classification Administration Grade 1 with salary range $58,422.80-$64,610.00 dependent on experience.
