About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking motivated Quality Coordinator to join our Quality and Risk Department. This role will work collaboratively with the Executive, Department Heads and staff across the organisation to provide clear direction in relation to the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Quality and Clinical Governance Framework and accreditation processes.
Position Overview
- Permanent, Part Time- and Full-time positions available.
- The position will work across the organisation, providing an opportunity to understand the complexity of regional / rural care provision.
What you bring
As a Quality Coordinator, you will have developed a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience. You will possess strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with staff in a multi-disciplinary setting. The successful applicant will have a degree in health management/ administration/quality management/nursing or related discipline and relevant experience, or a suitable combination of lesser formal qualifications combined with relevant experience
Knowledge of or the demonstrated ability to gain a working knowledge of accreditation standards, relevant legislation and compliance is essential. Additionally, an understanding of the redesign process, experience in planning and implementing change in a complex service delivery environment, and the ability to collect and analyse data and prepare reports are required.
