About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking applications from an Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EEN) who are seeking the opportunity to transition to Mental Health and Wellbeing Services (MHWS) and develop the specialist skills and knowledge to work within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Services Division as an EEN. In this role the EEN will work under the direction of Mental Health Nurses (Registered Nurses) and EEN's to offer care and recovery-based treatment to consumers within the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Unit, The Community and the Prevention and Recovery Centre (PARC).
Position overview
- Part-time (32 hours per week), Fixed term positions
- Warrnambool Campus
- Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse Grade 1 or 2, based on level of experience
- Salary Range: $60,481.20 - $73,897.20 pro rata , plus superannuation
This position is eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV) up to $10,000.

As an experienced or recently graduated Enrolled Nurse, you will have demonstrated experience and skills in delivering a broad range of care and services to patients in a health environment, whether in an inpatient or community setting. Working as part of a collaborative and highly skilled team of professionals, excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential, and a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of legislation, regulation and contemporary practice is a must.
