Permanent, Part-time –64 hours per fortnight

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager – Oncology Services to join our management team and become an integral leader within the business. Working in collaboration with key partners, you will be responsible for facilitating the establishment of an Oncology Clinic and service at MDHS. We are looking for a motivated, innovative leader to fill this role.

Key duties include:

  • Participate in service development, implementation and roll out of oncology service.
  • Provide clinical and organisational oversite of oncology services from both inpatient and outpatient perspective.
  • Providing physical, psychological and emotional support for people diagnosed with cancer and their families from the time of their diagnosis and throughout their treatment.
  • Liaising with specialists and other services providers, coordinating referrals as required.
  • Providing education and resources to other health professional and the general community.
  • Identify funding opportunities to grow service delivery opportunities.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in establishing a clinic
  • Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and no restrictions
  • Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Oncology
  • Recent experience and demonstrated competency in oncology nursing or care coordination
