About us 

The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.  
 

About the role 

Reporting jointly to the Director, People and Culture Operations and the HCM Project Director, this position will play an integral role in the project team responsible for data compilation for implementation of our new Human Capital Management (HCM) system, SuccessFactors for DGS and its customers. You will provide subject matter expertise in a fast paced and complex environment across departments and entities. Drawing upon your expertise, you will manage various data sources and a consistent data compilation approach to ensure workforce data is successfully transitioned into SuccessFactors HCM and the integrated and seamless delivery of workforce reporting processes and services across DGS and its customers.

 

The Senior Workforce Data Analyst will demonstrate a sound understanding of contemporary workforce data practices, systems and reporting methodologies, possess strong data analytical skills and will work cross functionally delivering quality outcomes and excellence in project delivery.

 

About you 

To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate: 

  • The ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across departments and entities via different mediums for the purposes of meeting data needs for the HCM platform implementation.
  • Experience leading and supporting workforce data related aspects of the HCM project, including assisting with design, testing, inputting into change impact assessments and change materials as required.
  • The ability to retrieve, analyse, cleanse and transform workforce data from various sources into template workbooks for uploading into SuccessFactors HCM.
