    About the Role

    Are you passionate about fire safety and community engagement?

    In this rewarding role, you will provide support to volunteer brigades and facilitate the provision of home fire safety awareness and information to the community, by conducting CFA's fire safety programs. Join us in delivering CFA's corporate fire safety programs, including the Residential Advice Visit Service (RAVS) and Property Advice Visit Service (PAVS) community door knocks.

    You'll provide essential fire safety information, advice and recommendations to the local community while working closely with local brigades to strengthen relationships. You'll assist and support brigade Captains and members, ensuring the successful delivery of programs. Your role includes scheduling, providing accurate information and delivering timely reports.

    Help us make a difference in our communities by maintaining high levels of brigade participation and conducting quality reviews to ensure the effectiveness of our programs. Multiple casual opportunities available in Casterton, Hamilton, Colac, Warrnambool and Geelong!

    About You

    Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

    • Experience in the delivery of community, education, engagement (or similar) programs.
    • Sound communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work in a team and with limited direction.
    • Ability to develop a deep understanding of CFA community safety advice and messages through structured training and self-directed learning.
    • Be available to participate in training and development and work on weekends, weekdays and evenings at various locations around the State (please indicate your availability in your application)
