The opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will support the complex and in-depth operational planning delivery and ultimate handover of the Parkville Precinct Redevelopment (PPR). Operating with a level of autonomy, they will plan and manage various elements of PPR project which includes client relationship management, consultants and contractors, as well as project progress, forecasting against budget, delivery, monitoring and performance reporting. This will involve management of stakeholders, supporting project requirements across this large-scale development and supporting the integration of project requirements spanning; engineering, cost control, buildability, planning and compliance.
- Demonstrated skills in managing design, technical, planning, buildability, compliance and cost components of projects to deliver outcomes
- Ability to understand, translate and coordinate experts across various technical project disciplines
- Highly developed written communication skills including acute attention to detail
- Experience in leading delivery of High-Value High Risk, complex critical infrastructure projects
- Experience monitoring and reporting on the projects progress and report as required on required aspects of the overall program and budget performance
