About the role
Applications are invited for Accredited/Unaccredited Registrar positions in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at South West Healthcare commencing February 2025.
Position Overview
- Fixed Term, (12 months) Full Time February 2025 - February 2026
- 86 hours per fortnight
The Accredited/Unaccredited Registrar Obstetrics & Gynaecology positions provide broad Obstetrics and Gynaecology experience in a rural setting developed in line with RANZCOG training requirements. This includes frequent birthing suite and operative experience covering open, vaginal, and advanced laparoscopy and clinic experience encompassing all aspects of most subspecialty areas, colposcopy, and ultrasound.
The successful candidate will closely liaise with the Senior Obstetrics and Gynaecology Registrar, the Specialist Supervisors and the local Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
What you bring
- Holds a current Registration Certificate of the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia.
- Has sufficient previous general clinical experience to support the requirements associated with RANZCOG training.
- Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical knowledge and skills.
- Is committed to providing safe, high quality patient care.
- Is committed to working in an interdisciplinary team including seeking advice when necessary.
- Has a commitment to ongoing learning and self-development.
