About the Role:

As a Social Worker within our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. You will provide clinical and non-clinical treatment as part of short and long-term case management, utilising a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach. You will work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, and existing community supports to ensure comprehensive care within the South West region.

This position is based in Camperdown in Victoria with ongoing part time (0.6FTE minimum) up to ongoing full-time positions available for successful candidate(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and non-clinical treatment as part of short and long-term case management.
  • Utilise a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach to care.
  • Work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, and existing community supports.
  • Maintain regular communication and information flow with other clinical staff, professionals, families, and stakeholder groups.
