About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is now seeking to recruit an Administrative Support Officer (ASO) in the Health and Safety department.
Position overview
- Part-time, On-going position of 22.8 hours per week
- Opportunity to work school hours, across 4 days per week
- Warrnambool Campus
This role will support the Health & Safety department by providing administrative services for the successful management of workplace health and safety systems, training and development, maintenance of policies and procedures, injury management and return to work activities.
What you bring
We are open to applicants with qualification (Certificate 3 or higher) in Office Administration, Human Resource Management, Health and Safety or related discipline and relevant experience. Or you may have a combination of lesser formal qualifications with relevant experience. Variations of the above will be considered.
You will have sound knowledge and experience in a variety of computer skills (Microsoft Office) including, word processing, and designing power-point presentations, establishing and maintaining databases and operating spreadsheets. You will have the ability to work autonomously and prioritise workloads in a team environment, perform daily functions with a substantial level of accountability and responsibility.
You will be able to liaise with all staff across the service by using your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
As a bonus for SWH, you may also bring some experience in the development and maintenance of office systems and the ability to monitor and implement strategies to improve effectiveness in the department.
