About the role:  

As a Ranger, you will deliver in park services as directed by the Ranger Team Leader to enable efficient and effective delivery at a district level in accordance with the Regional Action Plan. You will be accountable for the delivery of on the ground works including, but not limited to maintenance and repair of a wide range of park assets which include playgrounds, picnic table and seats, toilet facilities, carparks and minor road infrastructure within a range of parks and reserves. In this role you will also assist other rangers with their projects where you gain valuable experience within the park management sector.

The successful applicant will require:

  • Practical trades skills and experience in the maintenance and operation of small power equipment and tools for asset maintenance
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures
