Position Title: Dietetics Professional Lead
Classification: Grade 3 - Year 1 (AK1) to Year 4 (AK4)
Salary per hour: $52.78 to $61.47 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options
Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 72 hours per fortnight
Award: Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025
Role description
This is an exciting role for an experienced dietitian who wants to make a difference in the local community. The primary focus of the Professional Lead Dietician is to provide high level leadership, clinical direction and professional support to the dietetic and health promotion professional groups and allied health inpatient team. A key expectation of this role includes demonstrated personal attributes that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and partnership between all departments at Dhelkaya Health and with other programs and organisations. The grade 3 Professional Lead Dietician is also expected to maintain a clinical workload, in particular providing and coordinating cover across the different programs during times of high demand.
About you
- A qualification as Dietician as defined by the Medical Scientist's Award (VIC)
- Membership of the Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) program
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a health care setting
- Training and/or experience in Microsoft and appropriate clinical databases
- Current Driver's Licence
- Post-graduate experience in leadership or management (desirable)
