Position Details
About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Clinical Dietitian to join our team. Working with 9 dietitians in a supportive multi-disciplinary environment, this role focuses on providing effective and efficient evidence-based Nutrition services to patients.
The positions responsibilities include but are not limited to; accurately assessing and implementing appropriate clinical management for patients, prioritising and managing a caseload effectively, supervision of Grade 1 Dietitians, and student Dietitians, participation in policy review and maintaining data and records. The workload includes Inpatient services, and Community and Outpatient services on a rotational basis.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to participate in team and department meetings, training, continuing education, committees and quality programs. This position offers an opportunity for growth and the development in leadership, innovation and dietetic clinical skills.
Position Overview
- This is a temporary full-time position
- 80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO.
- Fixed term position from November 2024 until June 2025
What you bring
Applicants should hold appropriate tertiary qualifications and be eligible for membership as an Accredited Practising Dietitian. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate previous clinical experience, leadership skills, well-developed organisational and communication skills, and an ability to work in partnership with others. A current Victorian driver's licence is required.

Employment Terms and Conditions will be in line with the Victorian Public Health Sector (Medical Scientists, Pharmacists And Psychologists) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 with the appropriate classification of Dietitian Grade 2 Salary Range: $92,627.00 - $104,811.20
