About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) believes in providing a highly supportive environment for all Graduates whilst encouraging professional development and excellence. Our aim is to provide clinical structured support during the transition from student to social worker.
Our Graduate Social Work program will be commencing February 2025, offering the opportunity for you to consolidate and apply theoretical knowledge by developing skills in a variety of clinical rotations through our Mental Health teams. This includes two 6 month rotations in the Adult, Older Adult, Infant Child and Youth Community Mental Health teams (ICYMHS), the sub-acute Prevention and Recovery Centre (PARC) or the Acute Inpatient Unit (AIU). Dependant on the needs of the service the community rotation may occur in a team located in Portland, Hamilton or Camperdown.
The Social Work Graduate is a supernumerary position within our mental health services with dedicated study time and access to our Mental Health Social Work Educator
Position overview
- Fulltime (40 hours per week), 12 Month - Fixed term position

- Salary: $72,363.20 pro rata , plus superannuation
