Position Details

The Opportunity:

This position works in a small team supporting the delivery of parliamentary, ministerial and Public Accounts and Estimates Committee (PAEC) requirements for the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA). This team works collaboratively within the wider Office of the Chief Executive across a range of areas including advisory, administration and coordination of executive and ministerial correspondence, Cabinet and Parliamentary processes and governance.

  • Effectively support and develop office processes and assist in the development of cabinet, ministerial and PAEC requirements within VHBA
  • Support team functions including the office interface with OurBriefings, e-briefings system, and supporting the coordination and submissions of briefings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations

We are looking for:  

  • Proficient written communication preparing complex briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language
  • Detail-oriented, observes fine details; identifies gaps in information; looks for logical sequences of information
  • Project management skills involving liaising and influences key stakeholders; produces detailed project plans where objectives are clearly defined and action steps for achieving them are clearly specified
