    About the Role
    The CFA District Mechanical Workshops are supported by Administrative Support Officers who manage the finance and administrative tasks for mechanical services, including parts ordering, purchasing, invoicing, and reporting.

    This flexible, part-time role (1 day/week) is ideal for someone organised, adaptable and detail orientated. 

    More specifically the duties include:

    •    Provide administrative support for workshop operations, including word processing and data entry. 
    •    Support the Workshop Officer-in-Charge with accounts, fleet data management and the organisation of purchasing and deliveries. 
    •    Manage mail, reception duties, filing and document handling. 
    •    Maintain accurate electronic records via SAP and SharePoint.
    •    Assist during major incidents or fires as required.

    About You
    Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
    •    Demonstrated administrative and clerical experience
    •    Experience in managing a filing or document retention system
    •    Demonstrated ability to operate MSWord and MS Excel, as well as a general operating knowledge of computers
    •    Demonstrated understanding of financial systems, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and stock purchasing
    •    High-level communication and excellent interpersonal skills
    •    Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
    •    High-level organisation skills, including ability to schedule work and meet deadlines
    •    Demonstrated ability to perform in, and enhance a team environment
